HST6803   Directed Reading   (15 credits)

Description

This module allows you to pursue individual study at an advanced level in the area in which you intend to specialise in future PhD research. It allows you the opportunity to work with a member of staff (usually your prospective PhD supervisor) in developing relevant skills or your familiarity with a particular body of material, historiography, or theoretical literature. Students interested in taking this module should discuss their options with the MA Director. The module is based on tutorial work and independent study.
